Perfect for events like birthday parties, school activities, or fairs, a petting zoo turns animal education into a playful, heartwarming experience.
How safe are petting zoos?
Very safe! At Let’s Plan a Party, safety is a top priority. Our animals are hand-picked for their gentle nature and used to being around people. We have trained staff on-site at all times to guide interactions, make sure everyone (including the animals!) stays comfortable, and maintain a clean environment. Hand sanitizer is always available, and we encourage good hygiene after animal time to keep things safe and fun for everyone.
What do you do at a petting zoo?
At a petting zoo, guests get to meet, feed, and gently pet a variety of friendly animals. It’s a hands-on experience that lets kids and adults interact up close with animals like goats, bunnies, sheep, chickens, and sometimes even alpacas or mini pigs! You can feed them snacks (usually provided by the staff), learn a little about each animal, and of course—take lots of cute photos!
